Here is everything you need to get started with your VOIP service, using your SkyMesh-supplied NF18ACV.
(If you’re using a different router, click here to see a list of supported equipment in our knowledge base, then select the router or ATA you’re using.)
Before you set up your router, we recommend connecting your computer to the LAN 1 port on the router via a Ethernet cable. Keep a copy of your welcome email handy, because it contains important information about your service.
Enter the following details into your router:
Click the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom of the screen. Once you click apply you may have to wait 120 seconds for your router to apply the settings.
Click on the ‘SIP Advanced Settings’ heading on the left-hand side of your browser window.
Untick all features on Line 1 and Line 2 apart from Call Waiting.
Click the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom of the screen. You may need to allow 120 seconds for the NF18ACV to apply these settings.
Reboot your router. This process will take up to 90 seconds to complete.
To confirm that these settings have been entered correctly, you can click on the ‘VoIP Status’ heading on the left-hand side of the screen. If the account has been successfully registered, the router will show your Registration status as ‘Up’.
If the Registration status is ‘Up’, you should now be able to make and receive calls.
After performing these steps, make a test call with your phone. You should now be able to make and receive calls using the SkyMesh VOIP service.
