Here is everything you need to get started with your VOIP service, using your SkyMesh-supplied D-Link TalkBox2800.

Before you set up your router, we recommend connecting your computer to the LAN 1 port on the router using an Ethernet cable. Keep a copy of your welcome email handy, because it contains important information about your service.
Open a web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari).
Navigate to http://192.168.1.1
Enter the admin password for your router.
Click on the “Settings” menu in the top right corner of the page. Select “Internet” from the dropdown menu.
If you’re connected to the NBN using the FTTN/B or FTTC technology types, enter:
WAN Access Type: VDSL
Interface: PTM 0
If you’re connected to the NBN using any other technology type, enter:
WAN Access Type: Residential Gateway
Interface: Ethernet 0
For all technology types:
Service Type: INTERNET_VOIP
After making these changes, click the ‘Save’ button.
Click on the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of the page and select ‘VOIP’ from the dropdown menu.
Enter the following details into your router:
VOIP Provider: (Select the state that you live in)
Local Port: 5060
Register Server: Use the SIP SERVER from your welcome email.
Proxy: Use the SIP SERVER from your welcome email.
Outbound Server: Use the SIP SERVER from your welcome email.
Register Life Time: 120
Link Test Interval: This option should be greyed out
Enable Link Test: Disabled
Retry Interval: 60
Enable P-Asserter-Identity: Disabled
Username: Use the SIP USERNAME from your welcome email.
Password: Use the SIP PASSWORD from your welcome email.
Click the ‘Save’ button at the top of the page. The TalkBox2800 may take between 60 – 90 seconds to apply settings.
You should now be able to make and receive calls with your VoIP service.
Testing your VOIP service
Ensure your VOIP compatible handset is plugged into the VOIP 1 port on your DVA2800.
After performing these steps, make a test call with your phone. You should now be able to make and receive calls using the SkyMesh VOIP service.
