Windows Mail Setup Guide

  1. Open Windows Mail – this is located under 'All Programs' in the 'Start' menu.
  2. Click 'Tools' at the top of this screen, then select 'Accounts.'
  3. Click 'Add' (In the top right hand corner of the Internet Accounts window, then click 'Email Account,' and click 'Next.'
  4. Enter your name as you would like it to appear to people you email – for example, 'John Smith' – and click 'Next.'
  5. Enter your email address exactly as it has been setup with us – for example, 'johnsmith@skymesh.com.au' – and click 'Next.'
  6. The next screen should read as follows, if it does not, please adjust it:
    1. Incoming Email Server Type: POP3.
    2. Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: mail.skymesh.com.au
    3. Outgoing email server (SMTP) name: mail.skymesh.com.au
  7. Click 'Next.'
    1. Type in your account name exactly as it has been setup with us - for example, 'johnsmith@skymesh.com.au.'
    2. Type your password exactly as it has been setup with us – for example, 'Smiths123.'
    3. Tick the box to 'Remember Password.'
  8. Click 'Next.'
  9. Click 'Finish.'
  10. Close the Internet Accounts window, and click 'Send/Receive' to confirm that the mail account is now working.
