SkyMesh SMS Service
IPSTAR Alerts

To receive automated SMS messages concerning your IPSTAR Beam or Gateway, SkyMesh Satellite customers can subscribe via SMS to our free IPSTAR Alerts List. Simply SMS the text below to our SMS number, 0458 759 637 (0458‑SKYMESH).

    subscribe ipstar
This is an SMS number only, you can’t call SkyMesh on this number. Please note that the service is for SkyMesh customers only and your mobile number needs to be listed in My SkyMesh. Also, if IPSTAR declare an outage at 3:00 am, you'll get an SMS message at 3:00 am. We’re planning to give customers an option in My SkyMesh to specify the hours when they would like to be alerted.

Speed Boosters
The instructions listed below are designed to decrease page loading times for SkyMesh Satellite customers.

Internet Explorer

  1. Download and run the Internet Explorer Speed Booster.reg file.

Firefox

  1. Type about:config in the Location Bar and press Enter.
  2. Type p.m into the Filter Bar.
  3. Double-click each preference and change it to the value as shown above.
  4. Restart Firefox in order for the changes to take effect.

Firefox (Advanced)

Advanced Firefox users may also wish to experiment and further improve page loading performance by enabling HTTP pipelining. Unfortunately pipelining is not supported by some servers and in some cases, may prevent a site from loading. Just follow the instructions listed above except for point 2. Type pipe into the Filter Bar instead.
