Basic Plan Notes:
  • Your Normal Data Allowance (“Anytime” Data) can be used at any time.
  • If you exceed your Normal Data Allowance during a Billing Period, your Peak Information Rate will be reduced to 128/128 kbps for the remainder of that Billing Period. If you then increase your Excess Data Usage by placing a continuous load on the service, your Peak Information Rate will be progressively reduced. We do not charge for Excess Data Usage.
  • You may change your Plan once during each Billing Period, effective on your next Billing Day. We do not charge for Plan changes.
  • NBN Co considers that downloading 50 GB or more during Peak Hours in any four week period (the Threshold Download Limit) constitutes inappropriate or excessive use of the NBN Interim Satellite Service. If you exceed the Threshold Download Limit, NBN Co will initially reduce your Peak Information Rate to 128/128 kbps for two weeks (the Service Reduction). If you continue to download data after the Service Reduction is applied, NBN Co may further reduce your Peak Information Rate or extend the Service Reduction beyond the initial two week period.
  • Data Blocks are not available with Basic Plans.
  • Data Usage is counted in both directions, so if you download 2 GB and upload 1 GB, that’s counted as 3 GB.
  • All Plans include 25 MB of personal Web space and up to 10 free email boxes. Each email, sent or received, can be as large as 10 MB and each email box can store up to 50 MB of emails.
  • The Minimum Agreement Term is 30 days from the date your SkyMesh service commences.
  • Payments are monthly in advance and may be either automatic charges to your Credit Card or via automatic Direct Debit from your nominated bank account. Payments via Credit Card or Direct Debit do not incur a surcharge.
  • If you do not wish to use an automatic payment system, you have the option to pay for your service 6 months in advance by cheque or money order. The minimum amount for such payments is $150.
  • The abbreviations “MB” means megabyte, “GB” means gigabyte, “kbps” means kilobits per second and “Mbps” means megabits per second.
  • The Peak Information Rate of NBN Interim Satellite Services varies depending on your location in Australia, your modem’s signal strength and satellite network congestion, and could be as high as 6/1 Mbps.
  • These Plans are only available at premises serviced by the NBN Interim Satellite Service. They are not available with IPSTAR services.
  • Vacation Plans are not available with the NBN Interim Satellite Service.
  • NBN Co’s NBN Interim Satellite Service does not support IPv6.
  • SkyMesh Voice (VoIP) plans are not available with Basic Plans. VoIP traffic prioritisation (TC1) is not available with Basic Plans.

Plan Notes:
  • Your Normal Data Allowance (“Anytime” Data) can be used at any time. It is used during Off Peak Hours if you have exceeded your Bonus Data Allowance.
  • Your Bonus Data Allowance (“Off Peak” Data) can be used during Off Peak Hours. Off Peak Hours are defined as between 11:00 pm and 1:00 pm (the following day) for MaxSpeed Plans and between Midnight and 7:00 am for Night Owl Plans. The given times apply to your local time zone.
  • If you exceed your Normal Data Allowance during a Billing Period, your Peak Information Rate will be reduced to 128/128 kbps for the remainder of that Billing Period (except during Off Peak Hours if you have remaining Bonus Data available). If you then increase your Excess Data Usage by placing a continuous load on the service, your Peak Information Rate will be progressively reduced. We do not charge for Excess Data Usage.
  • You may upgrade your Plan as often as you like during each Billing Period. Downgrades are effective on your next Billing Day. Plan changes from MaxSpeed to Night Owl Plans and from Night Owl to MaxSpeed Plans are treated as downgrades.
• Data Blocks can be purchased at any time to remove speed limiting that is in effect. However, additional Data Blocks cannot be purchased if you are in danger of exceeding NBN Co’s Threshold Download Limit. Data Blocks purchased during a Billing Period expire at the end of that Billing Period. Service Reductions cannot be removed by purchasing one or more Data Blocks. Night Owl Data Blocks can only be purchased for Night Owl Plans.
