Plans Overview
SkyMesh provides a wide range affordable Broadband
Internet and Voice Services across Australia.
SkyMesh offers Satellite Services
Australia-wide. If you can’t access a Metro-comparable
Service via ADSL, cable or wireless, then you may be eligible
for a subsidised satellite service under the Australian Government’s
Australian Broadband Guarantee.
SkyMesh Satellite Voice is a Premium Quality Satellite VoIP Service
available on SkyMesh Satellite broadband.
Our VoIP calls made via Premium Providers and
call quality is comparable to a good mobile phone call at a
fraction of the cost.
We offer SkyMesh Wireless Plans
in areas around Gympie and the Sunshine Coast that have
radio line-of-site to our base stations. Wireless is fast
and affordable and can be teamed with VoIP to replace your
traditional phone line. Our Coverage page
lists the towns and suburbs in Queensland where SkyMesh
Wireless is available.
SkyMesh provides Broadband Internet for Hospitality -
Hotels, Motels and Resorts - using Ethernet, ADSL, BPL
and Wireless. If you’re a permanent resident in a
SkyMesh pre-wired building, affordable Internet and Voice
services are available immediately and without any installation
charges.
SkyMesh Voice is a Premium Quality VoIP Service
available on SkyMesh and non-SkyMesh terrestrial broadband.
Our VoIP calls are terminated via Premium Providers and
have call quality equal to traditional phone lines at a
fraction of the cost. SkyMesh Voice does not operate on
satellite services, a specialised VoIP product such as SkyMesh Satellite Voice is required
for satellite.
HiBIS
and Broadband Connect Plans are listed for the convenience
of wireless customers connected under those Australian Government
Programs, and are not available for new connections.

each month can be purchased if required at $10 for 250 MB, $17 for

- The Minimum Agreement Term for Australian

- All Plans include 25 MB of personal Web space and
up to 10 free email boxes. Each email, sent or received,
can be as large as 20 MB and
each email box can store up to 50 MB of emails.
- Data is counted in both directions,
so if you download 1 GB and upload
1 GB, it’s counted as 2 GB.
- You may upgrade your Plan as often as you wish and at any time. You may downgrade your Plan once a month, effective the start of the following month.
- There is no fee to return to the
Plan you originally selected when you
joined SkyMesh.
- Payments for your SkyMesh Satellite Service are monthly in advance and may be either automatic charges to your Credit Card or automatic Direct Debit from your nominated bank account. If you do not wish to use an automatic payment system, you have option to pay for your service 6 months in advance by cheque or money order.
- Payments via Credit Card or Direct Debit do not incur a
surcharge.
- The abbreviations “k” and “kbps” mean
kilobits per second, "MB" means
megabyte and "GB" means gigabyte.
MaxSpeed-specific Plan Notes:
- Approximately 80% of modems should produce peak download speeds between 3 and 4 Mbps and the remaining 20% should experience peak download speeds of around 2 Mbps. Peak upload speeds are also significantly faster with MaxSpeed Plans.
- The peak speed of MaxSpeed services vary depending on your location in Australia, your modem’s signal strength and satellite network congestion, and could be as high as 4 / 2 Mbps.
- For ABG Data Speed testing purposes, MaxSpeed Plans are considered to have a peak speed of 1024 / 512 kbps

Setup & Hardware Notes:
- Our Three Year on-site warranty covers all parts and labour as well as installation workmanship. (This only applies to customers installed after July 1, 2010 under the new Australian Broadband Guarantee 2010-2011 Program)
- Your computer will need to have
a network card and current operating
system.
- A Standard Installation is on a building
up to two levels at street front with
unhindered roof access, where the satellite
dish has an unobstructed view to the
satellite and the maximum cable length
from the dish to the nominated room
is 30 metres.
- Non-standard installations, such as pole or ground
mounting and difficult conditions, are available at no
additional cost with prior Australian Broadband Guarantee approval.
- Ownership of the satellite equipment automatically
passes to you on installation at your premises.
- Customers NOT eligible for an Australian Broadband Guarantee
Satellite require satellite equipment and installation.
Prices vary depending on the size of dish required and
type of installation, however for most locations the equipment
and installation cost would be $2,750.

- All Plans include 25 MB of personal Web space and up to 10 free email boxes. Each email, sent or received, can be as large as 20 MB and each email box can store up to 50 MB of emails.
- Payments for your SkyMesh Satellite Service are monthly in advance and may be either automatic charges to your Credit Card or automatic Direct Debit from your nominated bank account. If you do not wish to use an automatic payment system, you have option to pay for your service 6 months in advance by cheque or money order.
- Payments via Credit Card or Direct Debit do not incur a surcharge.
- The abbreviation “kbps” means kilobits per second, "MB" means megabyte and "GB" means gigabyte.
- These services can only be delivered where the relevant infrastructure and capacity exists at your exchange, and suitable wiring exists between your premises and the exchange.
ADSL2+ Specific Notes:
- Peak speeds for ADSL2+ services have a theoretical maximum of 24 / 1 Mbps.
- The peak speed of your service will vary depending on the length and quality of your line to the telephone exchange.
